Learn about car engines, etc. using the Internet?

I heard in the news media multiple times how people, in particular teenagers, learn a lot about cars and repairing their engines from videogames and Internet Web pages.

I never learned anything related to that in my teens; can some of you mention some pages, videos, or video games that can help in that matter?
