Dearest English teachers,
please tell me if my sentences below are acceptable and can I use 'sharper' to describe a memory?
In the stadium are there many people. The stadium I go to twice a week.

Both sentences are bad. A memory may be sharp or not, and one memory may be sharper than another, or sharper at one time than another.

@Loh Jane,
In the stadium are there many people. The stadium I go to twice a week.

While these two don't use the normal word order, they are completely and unequivocally acceptable, Jane, for certain registers. You'll never see them in the "academic writing" register or the "newspaper" register but they are certainly possible in speech and in the fiction/nonfiction register.

Probably. You should give an example when you ask these questions. It makes it easier to give you accurate info.

@Loh Jane,
I would say "sharpened by", or maybe "be made sharper". I would never say "It is often said that one’s memory can be sharper by jogging regularly."

Not wrong, grammatically, Jane, but there is a reason ENLs [English native speakers] don't say that.

What that reason is escapes me at the moment.
