Simply put, any federal gun control laws that may be passed are not valid in the state of Kansas under the new law. The bill also prevents any federal agent from enforcing federal gun control laws within the state, as well as allowing prosecution of federal officers who try to enforce such laws within the state’s borders.....

link to the law here
Kansas gun legislation
The funny part of the law is it appears they have made it illegal for Federal licensed firearms dealers in Kansas to conduct federal background checks. I can't wait for someone to sue a dealer for conducting a background check in violation of the Kansas law when they comply with the Federal law.

@parados,
So.....

.... in effect they have made it impossible to buy firearms in the state of Kansas.

This is an onion article, right?

@maxdancona,
I'm sure that wasn't their intent but this is what happens when you let stupid people pass laws.

No one who makes a living selling guns will be able to sell guns in Kansas, no wholesalers, no retailers, just people selling their personal guns.
