You might be used to other sites where you can't do much about a mistake in your post.
But here you can edit your post and fix it! Or you can delete it (you can only delete your post if nobody has replied to it,
but you can still edit it). Bottom line is that you don't have to worry about making a typo or posting in the wrong thread
etc.
When you edit a post that has already been replied to a message will be added saying that you have edited it.

how many times I have made a perfect ass of myself on Abuzz because of typos, and couldn't fix them?

This isn't false
modesty (as I'm not the modest type) but the thanks should really go to the open source core code for this forum as well as
the hundreds of open source code snippets that I've collected. There are a few features that are enirely my creation (like
the wilso feature) but most of this software is derived or inpired by open source code.
