How to view Facebook chat on a mobile device as you would on a desktop/computer version?

So basically, the question is self explanatory. I use the 4th generation iPod touch, and was wondering how or if there's any way to view Facebook chat as I would on my computer. For example, on the Facebook app and for chat, it shows favorites, friends that are online with the green dot next to their name, and then other friends. I want to just see the friends who are specifically online and ones who are using their cell phones like as on the computer it will show a phone icon/symbol next to their name.
