K=X≠Y
D=O≠P
J=????

The title is Topology Tumble.
A hint is "be flexible"
I think it might have to do with how the letters are shaped but I'm not entirely sure.

How did you come up with that answer? And I think the answer is only 4 letters due to the 4 ?'s

They're topologically equivalent - they can all be stretched out into a straight line.
