"Coming out" is in the news due to Senator Portman's son. I think there are many men who can not "come out" because they don't have a gay partner. It seems a bit of a farce to be technically gay without a partner. The reason for a lack of partner can be lack of physical attractiveness and lack of "personality."

Any comments?

@gollum,
Is it possible to technically be heterosexual without a partner?

@ehBeth,
Sometimes I read some posts and I'm in awe and others I just chuckle. For me, the entertainment value of A2K may flag but the freak flag still flies high.

@ehBeth,
No, you must be having sex constantly (even while commuting, in church, or attending your child's soccer games) in order to prove your sexuality.

I knew this woman once't who was as plain as board fence. She just exuded sexuality, she had to fight 'em off with a stick. Looks ain't got nothin' to do with it.

@gollum,
Sexuality is defined by preference, not by whom you have sex with.

Quite right. If you're a lonely, ugly nerd, you're not gay, you're just a loser. You wish you were gay.

@JeffreyEqualityNewma,
That's OK, don't speak... we all know what (s)he's thinking. Very Happy

Why call someone a bigot... cause it hurts?
No doubt, it's just as evident without the words.

Let's see, we can read the OP as puzzling, silly, bizzare or just plain dumb, or we can read it as innuendo, veiled insult or homophobic.

@Finn dAbuzz,
Thanks Freud.
Sometimes outdated notions of patriarchal psycho-sexual disturbances are just that.
Disturbances.
