Cellphone stolen, can I track it?

Hello everyone!
I have a huge problem: My Iphone 4 got stolen, probably 1 month ago. I was already over it but now a post from THIS PHONE appreared on my facebook, showing two children. I belive this picture to be uploaded by accident from the thief. Unfortunately the picture has no location attatched to it. My question is the following: Can I somehow get any information about the thief or his/her location just by the picture? Shall I contact Facebook directly for this?

You'll probably have to contact your cell phone carrier. At least, they can cancel the service so the thief gets no benefit from the theft. Maybe, and a faint maybe at that, they will track it down.

Contact Facebook. I doubt they can or will help, but it won't hurt to ask.

Is it an iPhone? I was with a friend in January and he left his new iPhone 5 in a taxi. He called ATT and he got it back. It was amazing. But it had to do with a setting he had set up when he got his new phone. You have to have set it up first.

Then he showed my how to set it up on my iPhone 4.

Next time download iCloud - you can find your phone if you have that. I've done it.
