Three weeks ago, someone disappeared overnight from my Facebook 'friends' list.
Today however, a 'Shared' photo from them appeared on my status (even tho I'm not linked with it's original source).
Thus, have I been 'Blocked' or 'Defriended by them (is there a difference?).
Either way, why have I received this post, and will some of mine appear on theirs from time to time?
Many thanks in anticipation.
@rochester,
Long answer? No. I have never been blocked or defriended.
I'm assuming that when one is defriended that one can try and make a friend request again. Whether or not that person will accept is another story.
Quote:What is blocking? What happens when I block someone?
Blocking someone limits them from viewing things you share on your timeline. Most ties you currently have with the people you block will be broken (ex: friendship connections). Blocking is reciprocal, so you won’t be able to do things like start a Facebook chat or message with the person, or see things they post on their timeline.
Keep in mind that blocking someone may not prevent all communications or interactions such as in apps or groups and only affects your experience on Facebook, not elsewhere on the web.
Note: Removing a block will not restore the friend connection. If you block a friend and then remove that person from your block list, you'll need to send them a new friend request.
