Privacy in facebook albums

Hello!
I'd like to ask for your help regarding posting a new album in facebook: I want to create a new album and upload some pictures to it. But, I do not want my friends to receive an update about the album's existence(i.e in their "Home" tab). I do however wish to make the album visible to friends, which means if someone enters my albums section he would be able to view the new album.
Is this possible somehow? If so- how?

i need an answer to this too.

i tried quickly removing from my timeline and newsfeed - but still hours later friends were commenting on it......so it must have appeared in everyone elses news feed.

also, how can Add Photos to an existing album without it going to news feed or timeline?

it seems anything one does on facebook is automatically shown to 100-400 people - this really really sux.
