A recent article in Newsweek and a mention in the NY Times have got me wondering. Are we all in Google? If we enter our name, does information about us spew forth?
Let's give it a try. Enter your name in Google. Then report back. Are you in there? Is the information accurate?
Color me curious.
One mention with my real name; several mentions with jespah or jespah2 although there are a few other jespahs online plus it's a name often given to lion cubs and sometimes to Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies. :-D
I show up a few times with my Abuzz monkier ("Fishin99"). Mostlly on sites where someone swiped Abuzz interactions and posted the full content to their own pages.
"Fishin' " returns a whole lot of hits but none of them are me!
I didn't enter my abuzz name or other online names I use. Just my real name. I'm there (some books I wrote). I'm going to try my other names and see what happens.

I have 7 hits for my real name, 1,480 (!!) for "sozobe". Most seem to be on A2K.
My name is not there. Urs53 is in some kind of strange list of an Italian site. I can't figure out what it is...
Dlowan is there - has been for ages, from Abuzz, - but real me is not there at all - thank heavens.

My real name isn't there. There are over 4,000 hits for "chatoyant". Did you know there is a Chatoyant Rose perfume? If anyone would like to spend $100 on me, send me a message. I'd love to try that stuff!

There are a couple of references to other mmediane's including one in Morrocco--now that is a mmediane I might want to meet since I would love to visit Morrocco.
My real name isn't there which isn't surprising since the witness protection program is so good at protecting those of us who wish to remain anonymous.
Okay, 1,060 as bandylu2 (mostly from A2K and gardenweb); none for my real name (well, actually, there is one but it ain't me).
30,500 hits found in 0.14 seconds........ Google is amazing! Wow, there is a road with my first and last name in London. Better put that on the list of places to visit! (Need the photo with me smiling next to the street sign!)
Actually, I don't think any of the hits referenced me...just people & places with my name... and I don't have time to look through them all to find out!

I have several variations on my "real" name--and none of them seem to be public currency.
