The whole idea of "pressing one's buttons" revolves around finding out which insults elicit the strongest responses.

People who think they are smart hate "stupid."
Sluts hate to be called "cunts."
Black people hate when non-blacks use the n-word.
Stupid people hate to be called "poor."
Bigots hate to be called "racists."
Children and teens hate to be called "childish" or "immature."

In general, the more truth the insult has, the more insulting it is.

You can call an Asian guy the "n-word" all day, it won't affect them. You can call a non-racist "racist" as much as you want. Mother Theresa doesn't care if you call her "asshole," etc. etc.

Far from it. Germans don't like being called Nazis but they really are. That's what I am getting at.

I think that's a tad simplistic.

By that kind of thinking, all Turks are Islamic terrorists.

We have some very pleasant and intelligent Germans as regular contributors to this site.

Of course, they are not 1940s' Nazis. They are contemporary Nazis, unlike Neo-Nazis. They are POLITE racists.

I wouldn't deny that. Turkey is predominantly Muslim country and most of them dislike anything Western.

Germans are very reserved on the surface and they will be fake-polite for the most part, especially in larger, richer cities in the Western regions. Nevertheless, their true feelings are in general extremely pro-white, and pro-German.

Well, that could be. Though I have my doubts with "general". And with "extremely. I'm not sure about "pro-white". But I admit that I'm sometimes "pro-German". In football.

By the foregoing logic, if I didn't like it, it must be true. That's my take away from the claim.

But specifically, I would not like it.

This is a little like the old deal of denying an accusation of being a drunk. The obvious answer is that you are in denial, which serves to prove the assertation.

I think I can continue to follow what may be an interesting discussion without having to contend with the OP. Let me give it a try.

Pretty dull-witted thesis here. What is "hate stupid" supposed to mean? How do you know who the sluts are? Nobody likes to be called a ****, nobody. Sure black people don't like to be called n*gger, that surprises you? All racists are, arguably, bigots. Not all bigots are racists.

Maybe you need to work on that.

I see your point. But I always believed there was not only one truth, one correct thing, or one reality. I think our opinions concurrently occur without contradicting each other. I don't think there is no exact Black or White.
