I don't understand why so many women shave their pubic hair. I understand trimming it in summer but why shave it?

Neither did I understand this until late in life.. (unusual for a classic pervert).
It is basically stemming, (as usual) from mens attitudes in seedy underworlds.

Women however, choose it for reasons of comfort and social acceptance, plus they do not have to look down and wonder if it is unseemly.
