Moving Mom from Fla to North...overwhelming

Mom alone, 88 y.o., done really well until recently.
Now its time to make decisions, stay in fla. and have some type of care, or move to North with my family and find some type of facility.

She is super cold all the type, and complains alot, talks constantly.
The selling of condo, moving , changing doctors, mortgaging my house, and all has gotten me somewhat depressed and angry at times

I have a very taxing position with the government, and don't have a lot of time off...

@jlm86,
Well, I'm glad you didn't ask a question because I sure don't have answer.

First things first: are you your mother's guardian, or have some valid reason to think you can move your mother without her consent? If the answer is no, you can't compel her to move. Get busy on this first, as it sounds like you, or someone else is going to have to be making decisions for her.

If you don't have time for her anyway and she hates the cold, leave her in Fla. When my time comes I'd rather die a year or so earlier in the heat than hang on a year or two more up North where it's cold.
