Did you notice that I called you 'Mugsy' on the photograph I posted?
'Twas the latter (your successor) whose forgotten name occurred to me,
Mugsy too, you see, is long since ghosted,
Have you become each other's BFF? leaving pungent 'notes' upon the trees?

Today, 12-22-12, is my late dad's ninety-eighth birthday anniversary and, to honor him, I posted some old family photos on FB. The one mentioned in the poem was taken when I was four or five.
In it, along with my parents and sibs, was a dog I mistakenly called 'Mugsy'. My older sister who was ten at the time, happily corrected me and told me about a an earlier dog, "Goggie."

You do know it's permitted to post photos on a2k, don't you?
I'm still sort of askeered of fb, but threaten to join and then don't, every so often. Once I do, of course, I'll have no life.
How to post a photo differs if you have a mac or pc. Basically, you put the photo on your desk top. Then you check a site like photobucket (easier, to me) or image shack, and follow the directions.
It's not hard at all - once you have ventured into doing that.
jjorge - I bet you don't know about Katy.
She is Roger's sister's dog, and his sister is ill and I'm her dog's guardian. Roger visits her when he comes to the city, long drive (she loves him very much, he lets her jump up and hold paws).

That is really nice osso! Dogs are one of the nicest things about this life of ours!
I have friend (a married couple, both retired) Who have SIX trained labrador retriever 'Therapy dogs''! They, and a few helpers, take the dogs to visit people who are sick, alone, in nursing homes etc. The dogs are WONDERFUL and my friends have many heart-warming stories of their therapeutic visits!
