my manager access turned into moderator on my fb page

Hello

I don't know why my manager access to my facebook page is changed into moderator. I am pretty sure that the account in not compromised as there is no other admin to the page. It is just me and I have full control of the account but not the page. It happened while facebook asked me if I want to add another email address to my account which I accepted to do, then I guess facebook merged my profile into my page - saw the word merge in the url but the page was blank - and then I lost manager access and I cannot switch between my profile and page any more. what does that mean? is the page gone?
