I have to share something , as some of you know i am trying to get closer to
god and for the last 6 weeks or so i have been reading a series of books
called "Conversations With God" book 1 and book 2 , well late last night i was
laying on my couch reading book 2 when i was finished reading i closed the
book and placed it on my chest when all of a sudden i started crying,yes
crying, then i got this sensation of a warm feeling and pins and needles in my
chest, this lasted for about 5 seconds and it was gone, i talked to a few people
and they seem to think,and i'm convinced,that i had a spiritual awakening ,
this has NEVER happened to me before, so i wanted to share this and hear
some thoughts because it's not everyday "you" go through something like
that. i'm pretty excited about this because maybe this was my chance to
finally get closer to god as he may have answered my prayers after all these
months. Life is "pretty good" right about now ! !
WHAT has been your prayers and HOW did god answer them?
Since God is always around us, not matter where or when, there was no reason for you to ask to get "close" to your spiritual center. It has always been there.

Punkey - I had no specific prayers when i prayed to God i was consistent and honest when i prayed, otherwise to reply /add to your statement about God always being there, you're absolutely right,he is, i feel there was a reason to get closer to God because i felt my praying wasn't enough so i excercised some options and continued to do this and my day came when God entered my life and gave me meaning,if you will, that i would not have had otherwise.
