I rather suspect that he was more interested in dissing me...than New Jersey. But even if New Jersey...or New Jersey taverns (we normally call them Pubs or Bars) were the target...he is welcome to his opinion.

I guess if I wanted to be nasty (I don't) I could say that I agree with him; that I also would rather see him dead in an alley than in my company at a Jersey Pub.

But I wouldn't do that.

I can think of few things I would rather enjoy than an evening with the two of you, imbibing in our separate choice beverages and solving the problems of the world.
