Remember the jacaranda trees?
Now it's the season. Really beautiful.

Last friday, crazy March, big winds finished with 135 trees in the city. Among them, this jacaranda:

the person who started this thread knows a great deal about the city, while you are just guessing enthusiastically. I understand doing that, but please, just read the thread.

You would do well to just start at the beginning and read along.

fbaezer was an excellent local guide during my visit last year in Mexico City. I'll be there again - probably in late February.

I'll admit rhithrama may have loved the place, I get that. I'd like to hear his or her's takes.
