Frogs are like the caged birds miners used to use to warn them of bad things in their environment. Because their eggs are exposed for long periods during hatching and as adults their skin is porous, they are more susceptible to environmental poisons. One weird frog though is nothing to worry about, but if we begin to see many odd ones, if might be a good thing to monitor the water more closely.
You're absolutely correct about the water, Joe. But, regarding the case under review, I wonder what's to be done ... you reckon three courses of amphibitriplene might get 'em sorted out? The poor fellers are bound to feel depressed.
