Ecowater R3502R30 or Kinetico 2030s or Puritan (TX)

Hi all
I have not bought a water softener before and now need to buy a new one after move to Austin TX with a new house.

Couple of sales guys came and this is what i get

Ecowater R3502R30 with RO - $3995
Kinetico 2030s with Carbon - $3795
Puritan (single tank) - $2295

Anyone has any advice on
1) Pricing
2) Quality

I have 2 adult/2kids in the household. Local water is Hard water up to 14 rating (was told beyond 10.5 is Hard water) and sometimes Chroline level is 2 times the normal dosage (again based on local neighbourhood feedback)
