It strikes me that many folk hardly ever use desktop pc's anymore but carry around tablets. When a message has relatively small font in a larger window, as with a forum thread, I'd guess they're very hard to read, need to be magnified, and that changing pages and scrolling are much more difficult
Don't you suppose that's one reason some of our email correspondents won't even open a link to such a site
@dalehileman,
Oh come on fellas, in a forum of 100,000 participants…..
@dalehileman,
I saw you post but didn't reply because it doesn't match my experience. I use a desktop at work and have four of them at home. I have a tablet also, but it is more of a special use device for skyping and entertainment.
@dalehileman,
Don't own a tablet. Own several laptops and several desktops. And an Iphone.
@Ticomaya,
Thanks Eng, Tico, I'm dumbfounded as I was under the impression that everyone everywhere has his tablet at hand at all times, that it was positively an obsession if not addiction
@dalehileman,
That reminds me of one of my favorite movie lines ...
Police detective standing over a body: "
Your guess is as good as mine, but one thing's for sure ... he's dead ... murdered ... and somebody's responsible!"
@dalehileman,
That somebody doesn't include me.
Yes, I use a tablet.
Its an HP Touchpad, and I love it.I have never had a problem with text being to small, or with scrolling.
The only bad part is that there are some games I can't play on here, but that's why I have my laptop.
@mysteryman,

Thanks Man for that report
But per the OP don't you find it less than satisfactory for this sort of work
