Thanks to Barack Obama gas prices doubled, incomes dropped, unemployment soared and the deficit nearly tripled in less than four years.
The poor and middle class suffered the most.

@gungasnake,
<yawn>

Another day, another attempt to lie with statistics by cherry picking a start date, and mixing metrics....

http://66.70.86.64/ChartServer/ch.gaschart?Country=Canada&Crude=f&Period=96&Areas=USA%20Average,,&Unit=US%20$/G

I especially like how Gunga's chart crosses an 8% decline in income with a 100% increase in gas prices, and tries to make it look like the scales are the same.

An honest comparison would be wages vs. cost of living.

Anyone else totally not shocked by how unemployment affects average household income?

President Obama has made so-called “green energy” policies a key part of his economic agenda, but as a new book argues, they actually disproportionately hurt the poor by boosting the cost of energy.....

@gungasnake,
<yawn>

Please specify what the "green energy policies" are?

@gungasnake,
Gas prices haven't doubled from 4 years ago, they are entirely consistent with where they were 4 years ago.

Quit being such a douchebag.... prices in Jan. 2009 were very, very low due to the giant financial crisis/recession. No economist expected them to ever remain at those artificially low rates.

That's like telling water not to be wet.
