EST or Erhard Seminar Training.

I'm interested in hearing from those who completed the EST seminars that were popular during the 1980s. Did you experience "it" or the state of mind that Alan Watts referred to as "cosmic consciousness?"

If you did, how did it change your life? Did it redirect or deepen your religious views of the time? Did you begin to understand religious symbols and concepts metaphorically that you had always taken literally? Did EST put you on a new spiritual journey that enriched your life?

I have never participated in EST, for I had already spontaneously experienced "cosmic consciousness" repeatedly. It took me over 15 years to digest the full implications of these experiences as part of my spiritual quest, but maybe I was an especially hard head. I would appreciate any replies.
