just got a new well and we are now having problems with iron in the water so i was trying to get the rainsoft system up and running. can't seem to get it to run right because i have never lost water so it could regenerate so i unplugged it and it still sounds like there is water running. help i want to go to sleep.

Put it on bypass and check the clock motor.
Replacing the clock motor every few years is normal because the
white plastic cog splits allowing the motor shaft to spin freely
