He was in the Roman Army for ages in Rome. Very restless during any war. He had a secret about his NAME which he knew may ruin him. He went for a war, a very tough one-one in which he knew he would never see sunlight anymore. He fought so hard but all to no avail. When it was time to be awarded - this is medals given to soldiers who fought brilliantly well and died in the cause of war. He was to be given five medals which were
3 GOLDS, 1 SILVER, and 1 BRONZE
BUT THERE WAS A PROBLEM - "HIS NAME"
Every Roman soldier who died had their names on their swords, but his sword was customised. He wrote these on his sword:
Take five hundred steps either forward or backward (choose 1)- (Grade 1)
I am what every bright child of Rome will like to get as a good grade-(Grade 2)
In alphabets I represent facing the sky without bending- (Grade 3)
I is I –(Grade 4)
And you either take my five hundred steps forward or backwards- (Choose 1) – (Grade 5)
@George,
Why?
And what's the connection to MDCCVIII ?
@Lustig Andrei,
Take five hundred steps :: 500 = D
. . . a good grade :: A
In alphabets I represent facing the sky without bending :: just a guess V
I is I :: I
. . . five hundred :: 500 = D
No idea what 1708 has to do with anything.
