Of course. George is one of only a few country artists I rate as high as Hank Williams.

@edgarblythe,
He has a richer tone to his voice than many - he's one of my personal favourites.

When Conway Twitty started out, his music was billed as rockabilly. This is what he was singing the night I went to his concert, in Corpus Christi, Texas. First concert ever, for me.

@edgarblythe,
He is good! We have cds by him both as a country singer and as a pop star - 'Lonely Blue Boy' and 'Famous Country Music Makers, Conway Twitty'.

Do you ever listen to Joe Bussard's country show on WREK from Atlanta, Georgia - it's called Country Classics, on Friday evenings at 5pm?

@vonny,
No, I just hear radio driving between here and Tomball. Local stations are the pits.

@edgarblythe,
My husband downloads it I think. Not many good stations in the UK worth listening to.

I don't think I have played this yet. It's a song Dolly wrote to Porter Wagoner

@edgarblythe,
I had no idea that Dolly Parton wrote it! Love that song - I know it from The Bodyguard with Whitney Houston singing it.
