My dates were a mistake. I think there is room for newer stuff.

@33export,
I have a 33 1/3 orange album from the UK that contains the Everly Brothers most popular songs, including that one. I have another version of Take a Message to Mary by Bob Dylan.

@edgarblythe,
I've seen a choice few musical concerts. I saw Jimi Hendrix somewhere around 1969 before he broke up with The Experience.

As I chronically hadn't much discretionary cash, I missed a lot of concerts. One I did see recently was one of my faves. Simon and Garfunkel in one of the re-union tours. When they brought out Phil and Don for 4-5 songs, Paul Simon said they were as excited as we were to see them perform.

@Ragman,
Don and Phil were among my favorites for a long time and I still love their music. Same with Paul and Art.

@edgarblythe,
My first music with which I identified was sung by The Everly Brothers and Roy Orbison. However, my Beatles were S&G! Ive worn out a few copies of S&G albums.

@Ragman,
A local DJ where I was living played Bye Bye Love incessantly. But when they followed that up with Wake Up Little Suzie, he banned the boys from his radio program. None of that corrupting crap for him Smile
