North Korean refugees who were held captive in China are overstating their crimes on purpose to increase their time in prison, so that they are not repatriated back to North Korea. Shocking as it is, these incidents imply about North Korea's cruelty when it comes to human rights.
The refugees would rather stay in Chinese prison than to be repatriated back to their undesirable home...
When escapees serve their term in prison, and are repatriated, most are sent to prison camps, and are beat by, assaulted, tortured, and put to forced labor. Some even die of starvation, and some are publicly executed.
China knows that these inhumane acts are done in North Korea, but despite this knowledge, they are repatriating the poor souls.
China, as a G2 country, must stop repatriation of North Korean refugees, and must cooperate with the international society to end the misery of North Koreans.
