Check these things
1 - drain line plugged or restricted
2 - clean nozzle venturi system, under valve cover, nozzle venturi is the domed housing in front of the valve
3 - unit may need a disc/seal kit, avaliable from the Ecowater Dealer
hope this helps
After a couple of regenerations, if working the water level go should go done to normal 2-3 inches
