well as a relative newcomer to the net (first anniversary!) i learnt lots of useful computer/net related stuff - spybot and how to sort out problems with the computer - the experts in this have been really helpful and patient.

I hear about lots of interesting sites to link up and add some of my own.

i enjoy the art discussions with exchanges of ideas and information.

the truly highbrow literature of the neverending poetry thread is enlightening

I learn lots from people knowledgeable in their fields and i hope i give a little back..

'talking' to people from all over the world is interesting

True, so true! On this forum and one other I frequent, there is a large international member-base. Regularly I discuss things with people in the USA, UK, France, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Aussie-land, and NZ. And that's just some of them. There are more countries represented out there.

Gotta love global communications.

I learned Monger is good at diagnosing computer problems, and that Hubble has found evidence of Einstein's repudiated "constant force".

She's MY heroine. What a woman.

I am worried about her now, though.

It is not uncommon for people to fantasize and have sex with monsters.

I learned that persistence and high intellectual standards are off-putting to many people.

e.g. what Joe is doing might make you want to jump off the trolley, but only because of the rigor of his intellect.

I'm thinking of throwing myself off the frickin' trolley!

I will admit to enjoying the interaction but boy does Joe keep on coming back again and again ...

So ... are you trying to tell me I do not smart enough to hang around on this thread?

A lot of people like gustav around here, and perhaps fantasize about him occasionally, although I'm not sure who. Gertrude seems happy.

Hey, Heeven. I didn't understand Craven's remark either. Shocked

As to Gus, he's just a fun farmer.
