I read the reply and wrote the moderator but haven't received word yet as to what was wrong.

Do not use this forum to ask about moderation issues.

I've already answered you, in any case. You joined for the sole purpose of soliciting members for a cause and to post links. No matter how long you are a member this will not be allowed.

It does not matter how just you think the cause is. This website is not here for solicitations.

When you joined, you received two automatic communications that detailed this to you. One came in the email you needed to read in order to activate your account. The other came in a PM that you both read and responded to.

It said that if you were joining to post a link it would be removed and the sites added to a SPAM blacklist.

So if the moderators choose to ignore your query it will probably be because you chose to ignore two explicit warnings not to join to post links or solicitations. It will probably be because the reason has already been explained to you and because the rule was made clear to you before you posted.
