CuriousLee blog: NY Stock Exchange Lights
Well, this is contrary to what I would have expected for holiday decor at this Economic "summit"....
cobalt, my son works on the floor of NYSE and the average age (maturity wise) of the people working there is about 12. This time of year, the tie of choice (they all have to wear the colored key jackets of the company they work for) is one with Santa or Rudolph or something appropriately festive and gaudy, preferably one that also plays 'music'. They love nothing better than a good, offensive practical joke and will gang up in a minute to 'pick on' each other.
I suppose it's just an attempt to release some of the undeniable tension present in that chaos. But I was pretty amazed when he first started there and brought home his stories of the goings on. The outdoor decor is quite tame in comparison.
As long as you're making some money, the Exchange is not bore.
@cobalt,
NY Stock Exchange is not just like boring, but yes there are many things that make this market tough to competitor. There are many more market based on the NY stock exchange , So overall we can say whole world keep close eye on NYSE.
@stevetracks,
Good advice, especially when responding to posts written nine years ago.
