@Yoku,
I am not now and never have been a member of the Buses and Potholes Party.

What the hell was that supposed to mean in English? Was your mother frightened by public transport and street maintenance while she was carrying you?

@djjd62,
Is "Dan" the new equivalent to "Peanut Buster"?

Is it available at Cdn DQ's?

@ehBeth,
i don't even know if we have any DQ's left in our area, maybe in a food court somewhere, i think all the standalone stores closed in the last few years

funny, i never thought of them as ice cream places, i remember them more for burgers and hot dogs (the dogs were pretty good actually),back in, as they say, the day, the DQ in the big mall down our way was right next to a Laura Secords, now why would i get a machine extruded cone when right next door i could get scoop ice cream

@djjd62,
There are 2 stand-alone DQ's within about 5 k of my place. One overlooks the city - great place for a sunset if the raccoons aren't on patrol.

I used to treat myself to a DQ chili dog once a month when I was in uni in Waterloo. mmmmmm chili dogs

Listening in on this colloquy I assume that DQ is a Canadian fast-food chain, or something similar?

@Lustig Andrei,
No, Dairy Queen is a U.S. chain which also has stores in Canada. A franchisee started serving burgers and hot dogs in addition to soft serve ice cream in the 1950s. It was a big boost to their business.

Oh. Why'n't you say so? Dairy Queen I know but those DQ initials meant nothing to me.
