Worth it for the dancing alone . . .

@George,
That dancing was very energetic and very cool. The clip looked like it was from either Hullabaloo or Shindig.

Speaking of Everley Bros songs, here's one of their best songs sung by an awesome duet:

Image is fixed in my mind....the music plays...slow dancing with that special lady at one of my first jack-an-jill dances. <sigh>

Why not add this special one (same theme) too:

OK..I'll snap out of the deep nostalgia. This is one of my all time faves up-tempo numbers. One of my fave concerts was when I saw him perform it:

A fave blast from the past.
I would have liked to have posted an original Troggs video verson, but the sound quality was pretty poor ... but this is not too bad an alternative!

@Ragman,
Thank you, Ragman.
Not sure if this one's been posted or not yet.
Loved it at the time!

@msolga,
That song jarred my memory for this one from 1977, as well. Brings me
such a mellow vibe:

@msolga,
Sneaking one extra one in before heading off the bed.
Loved them from the very first time I heard them!

@msolga,
Me, too, msolga. As I have often observed, the sense of touch is the most powerful.

Another blast.

@Letty,
For you, Letty.
Ya can't just stop at one old Beatles track, can you?
Last one, I promise, Setanta. Smile

Ah, the angst of being a teenager in those days.

Did you catch the picture of the Edsel near the beginning of the song? The Edsel was a car put out by Ford. It lasted for two years, 1959-60. My friends had one, and it was a pretty good car. Some say that it died because Ford did not portray a clear "market" for the brand when it first went on sale.
