This medley of songs feels incomplete without this classic from Roy:
Of course the attached video is from one of the wildest movies of the last 30 yrs.

Amy Winehouse I consider a being from another time...perhaps another place. This song is sung in such a tender way with a certain purity. Feel the beauty within her:
100% agreed. Brother in Arms album was one of the best recorded in decades. I used to take it with me to sound rooms to try out stereo equip't. My vinyl lp is still in perfect shape.
Well done! Such a powerful song. Like out of the blue for them...considering the stype of music they typically did.

this is the first song I really remember hearing
when I was a weeBeth hamburgboy took care of me on Saturday mornings, so mrs. hamburgboy could have some time to herself
sometimes he'd take me to his workplace - the computer room (really a building) behind double airlock doors at an insurance company, and let me play with punch cards while he did important things with giant reels
it was a place that looked a lot like this but Saturday mornings it was hamburgboy and a 3 year old
we often walked home through the university campus
on at least one occasion, we stopped by the university radio station on our way home - the young man at the controls had been on a work placement at the insurance company
hamburgboy made a request for something to be played about an hour later
we continued our walk home, the radio was set to CFRC and this played for mrs hamburgboy
~~~~~~~~~~
this movie came out the year I was born. I always think of those computer room trips adventures with hamburgboy when I catch it on t.v.
I still love the smell of a server room.
