What kind of an idiot gives their dog marijuana? Or raw eggs for that matter?

I had a dog eat a lid, or part of one, a long time ago. My then gallery partner's boyfriend...

Sandpaw acted a little funny for the rest of the day. I admit I was stupid not to take him to the vet.. he didn't really seem sick.

Individual - on your post above, I think you mean 'can't' instead of 'can' - just in case someone takes it wrong..

That's ridiculous - all dogs love beer.

Actually, mine don't. They're fiends for scotch, though.

Hi Kevin....

Welcome to A2K!!

Does your dog's breath still smell bad today?? Did you find anything in his mouth??

When I was a kid, we had a Black Lab who had survived Distemper when she was a puppy, but the high fever stripped the enamel from her teeth.... for her whole life, she had bad breath....

PaL

His breath is still bad, but we are going to try getting the toothpaste in his mouth every day. If it smells no better in a week or so, then i think we shall have to take him to the vet (35 dollars to visit, and 300 to get his teeth cleaned! ARGH!)

Yep, the tooth cleaning requires anesthesia. It's a drag.

Kevin, if you can get some Old Mother Hubbard char-tar biscuits at the pet store, give them a try. They help one of my dogs with her occasionally wonky tummy and resulting stink-breath.
