@jcboy,
Did you ever get those paper towels?

Can we borrow some paper towels?

@jcboy,
Well I can't see the list (admin blocked) so I'm making a blind guess that you don't have Maine lobsters on it yet still it needs to be there. Surprised

That and Pepperidge Farm Tahoe cookies of course.

More paper towels. I've tried to get along without them, often reuse (ewwww), but they're a must have.

Need molasses and almonds, for cookies.

I went grocery shopping this morning and saw an image that meant something to me.

@chai2,
Once I saw a toddler sitting in his stroller, and an older person in a wheelchair pulled along side him and stopped.
The adult didn't even notice, but the toddler was intently eyeballing this guy up and down, checking out his cool wheels.
It was obvious the kid was thinking "Wow, I'm gonna get one of them someday!"

Would you like another child, a little girl, some day?

@chai2,
Oh yeah, that’s my plan. Gay couples cannot adopt as a couple in Florida but hopefully that will change.

We will need a larger house though. It will happen!

I went grocery shopping and walked away from the register without signing the screen or getting my receipt, so the guy reminded me. I had already swiped my card so I paid. That's when I realized it's 2012 and I'm still required to sign the name that is also printed on the card and then they give me a piece of paper telling me everything I just bought. Quaint.

Can’t believe I started this thread almost ten years ago!

I need to do better at grocery shopping. We have a large kitchen pantry and yesterday I cleaned it out. I found stuff that expired two years ago! I went through the entire pantry and threw out four bags of food that was expired!

@jcboy,
I've been doing the same thing. At least it made room for the fresh stuff.

@edgarblythe,
I can't believe I wasted so much food. I even found a bottle of clam juice from the last time I made clam chowder. The bottle expired two years ago! No way was I about to use it. I always check dates when I go grocery shopping but that pantry is so large some stuff in the back gets left behind and has to be tossed out.
