Honestly, David, it's hard to tell.
You say the same thing over & over, no matter what subject you're discussing ...
Yeah; I 'm LOYAL to my favorite principles.

not so much grit and grimace, but this made me shake my head --

saw a guy sitting on the front step of an office building this morning.
he was wearing only running shorts, and he had a towel over his head and a bottle of water at his bare feet.

he appeared to be in his 30's, didn't look homeless or anything.

it's ~ 36°F in Bahstin this morning... WTF??

I decided to tackle the compost heap whilst i had a few days off. I decided to borrow dads 4 HP 4 stroke mulcher and feed the sticky uncompoted pieces through the mulcher which is what i did today.
Got the mulcher to my place got it started (eventually).
parked it in the chook pen next to the compost heap, bent down reffed the first stick out of the compost heap. BRRRRRRTTT, Very satisfying. reached for the next stick... POW somthing sharp in the back of my hand, I stand up and look expecting a spider bite

POW something sharp in my cheek

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ all around me

RUUUUUUUNNNN fer yer lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have disturbed a European wasp nest.

OHHHHH SHHHEEEEEEEET it HUUUUURTs!

Had to leave the mulcher running next to the compost heap for 2 hours.

... she exclaimed, conveniently missing dadpad's discreet hint about the many kisses that have become necessary. Bad, cold-hearted bunny! I grimace and grit my own teeth in sympathy for dadpad.

I actually didn't see this post. Did you edit it?

It was NOT false sympathy!

I have been stung by one of those damn things, and it hurt like hell. At least I was stung in England (in a very ritzy hotel, may I add) where the damn things belong.

Bunny kisses for the roo.

@ehBeth,
Perhaps not -- but every market so far has started with a first transaction.

To be honest, I am not a major kiss fan. Smoochage and cuddlage is cool, though.

I guess, at the right exchange rate, we might have a market then.

yes I did edit it.
thank you for your sympathy.
Partially used kisses are not acceptable. In any case mumpad has the market cornered.

What made me grimace, grit & also cry quite a bit, was the news that one of my students (from way, way back) had died over the "festive season". I really don't want go into the details here, but along the way heroin addiction & cancer both contributed his untimely death. Such an incredible waste of such a talented person, with so much integrity. I'm still in shock.
