Honestly, for the first time, I'm speechless:

Slappy- You have outdone yourself. I LOVE it. Think of the possibilities. Buick could start an ad campaign. A new business could be started recycling old automobiles by turning them into water craft. The mind boggles! Very Happy

Too bad they didn't paint the car a different color...they made themselves an easy target to spot.

Yes. Another color, they would have made it EASY...like cake.

Imaging being on a cruise ship, and you look down to see a Buick full of Dominicans zipping by?

They tried this on Monster Garage
The only difference between this Buick and Jesse JAmes floater, Jesse didnt try sailing the OCEAN.
They really tried to color coordinate the prow of the boat with the front of the Buick. If they ever make it to US Im sure theres a design job for them at GM. Especially in the Caddy Division .

Actually, this is not an unusual story. Well, it is, but I mean the Cubans have tried this before. There was another attempt several years back that was well publicized. (They were much closer to their destination on that one.)

And there have been other attempts that have failed, the car/boat ultimately sinking or proving so unseaworthy as to feebly limp back to the shores of Cuba.

These people are creative, determined, and patient.

The car/boats will continue to sail this way.
