He "was" the grandson of Queen Victoria, and supposedly was responsible for WWI

Was he on a roll when he did that?

@JPB,
I went to that Lumosity site. Interesting and occasionally challenging.

@Roberta,
I went there also and played some of the free games. Interesting, but I didn't find them all that challenging.

Are you still playing Text Twist? I find that one keeps me pretty sharp--I am forever trying to beat my high score which seems to have been some sort of fluke.

@Roberta,
Yeah, I got back into Lumosity again...after putting my note about it here a few days ago. Doing well, but I still can't find my keys. It's not boring at all because there's so many variations and brain exercises. I like the exercise where you have to do bird identification and remember the location.

@firefly,
firefly, I haven't played Text Twist in ages. In the word game department, I play Text Express 2 Deluxe. Ever tried it?

Ragman, I think the game you get to play depends on what you said you needed help with.

@Roberta,
I have a pretty swifty short term memory, but am lagging on occasional words I used to know. Haven't worked re specifying plants in seven years and am starting to forget some of the latin names, although I can picture the plant and its location if I'd seen it and not just read about it. I'll have an idea that it starts with, say, C, and will be apt to remember the word in something like five minutes. It sort of pops to the top through the brain jelly, having been there but buried. Similarly, I've spaced out on the names of some of my husband's friends/acquaintances, or, egads, some of mine from long ago, and similarly, they pop up on the front page after a while. I know this isn't alzheimer's but it can be aggravating. Yet I think I've always had this process going on in some way.

@ossobuco,
Thank you Oss but

http://onelook.com/?w=thumb+down&ls=a

....though when I asked my BH who is much smarter than I what it means she said, ”to scroll using the mouse,” somewhat surprising since I scroll using index finger

Some however might use the thumb on the left-click but in either case I was uncertain how to proceed and so you might have to elaborate a bit

Sorry for being such a dunce at all that digital stuff
