does anyone else get lonely tavel nursing? does anyone wanna maybe meet up and just talk or get online and become friends? I am an ER RN. i have my 4 yr degree i graduated in may of 2008 im from louisiana i work in buckhead GA right now then taking april off and hopefully in may will be going to Alaska

Getting lonely does happen. I know that I use facebook to keep in touch and text and call a lot to my best friends. I am an ER RN as well. I would be open to talking. Let me know

Yes travel nursing can be lonely. Try using social networking sites to connect with friends. Or you can also try to make friends with the people you currently work with.
Another good distraction is a good hobby. Find a hobby that you like and it's certainly going to help you fight loneliness.
