@ossobuco,
heat typically should never be over 100 deg for extended periods of time as it warps or melts the vinyl. However, it's easy enough to observe the condition when you hold it (by the edges) or put on the turntable and play it.

@MMarciano,
I think they haven't been at over 100. And they don't look at all warpy. Guess I'll have to test i them. Even in my heyday I didn't listen to albums endlessly, much less with bad needles. On the other hand I ruined one quickly twice - that was Leonard Cohen's Songs - the album was blue, and I bet a cheapie in production, but what do I know.

@ossobuco,
Yeah...lots of people would leave them in a car or at their house near the heat. One session of that for more than hour and the record can warp like a potato chip. Many ogf use vinyl lovers ,even change the all paper sleeves to something more archival. The paper sheds its paper dust and that gets in the grooves not to mention those tiny mites that eat the dust and skin flakes.

We're not sure he's the person we thought he was, we were told this is actually Thom. And if it is pretty stupid of him to be posting on here.

@cs33717,
Bad news, cs. You can't deport US citizens, which include Puerto Ricans, and whatever you call people from Guam.
