Can someone please give me advice on how to act on foreign culture sites so I don't get in trouble?

Every time you have written an answer like this BUG OFF, you GOOFY GOPHER. or anything like that - erase it and write just the opposite. like.

Thank you - I do do that. I am going to use that last one more often. I am going to stop responding to all the TROLLS. I am going to be more tactful and sensitive.

this is universally true.

no one cares why you do it, or why you think it's socially acceptable.

so until you get this concept through your thick skull, people on forae all over the world will continue to think you are being rude...

I asked some Asians how can I draw "Asian eyes" and not make it look offensive. I was not trying to be racist when I posted that.

Why not as some artists instead of some Asians? Why not look for samples of 'Asian' eyes on the internet and tweaking them till they're your own?

What is stupid about asking some Asians how to draw something so it doesn't look offensive to them? I know some Asians are sensitive about how they look.

"Asian eyes" aren't the easiest things to draw.

I drew some Asian characters and some people said they look liked aliens.

The easiest thing that worked for me is to use the kid from Lotus Lantern as a model:

Just because they're Asian doesn't mean they know how to draw or explain how to draw inoffensive Asian eyes. What's an "offensive Asian eye" anyway?

If anybody's eye slants, you draw it that way. If it bugs out, you draw it that way. If it's beady, you draw a beady eye.

How would you know which people are offended and which aren't, anyhow?
