Actually, taxidermy mounts are quite expensive and in demand at hunting lodges, both public and private.

when my son was quite small, we visited a friends place. this guy was into big time hunting and stuffing. He had a bear stuffed and in the living room. Weirdness, my kid had nightmares for weeks

The guy on the left was a friend of our family. In his hardware store he had two huge stuffed bears, a Kodiak and a Polar Bear, standing up.

Oddly, I never had nightmares about bears, only wolves. So, I've always thought the wolf is my guiding spirit.
