If you want to call a party without revealing your phone number, are there companies who will disguise it for a fee?
@gollum,
Public telephones used to be the go to device for such an occasion. Is that not the case anymore?
I answered this but I guess I forgot to hit the "Reply" button, dumb, dumb, dumb.
I know Verizon, and I assume most other landline phone companies, has a prefix that you can dial before the phone number that will block caller IDs for that call only, but I don't know what it is. I just remember reading about it in some of their literature. Call the operator and ask him/her if the carrier you have has that feature.
@gollum,
Dial *67 followed by the number you are calling.
