Rainsoft Silver Series continually passing water out of system drain

I left for work at 0430 with my softener regeneration. When I returned at 2030 it was still running but stopped shortly after. Now water is passing through the system and out through my drain at the back of my yard and my chemical pump runs continuously. I can hear water rushing through the pipes. What may be the problem? Help is appreciated. Thank you

P.S. System will not manually regenerate or back wash now.
