You live in Pittsburgh how could you not be nice?

Now if you are in Squirrel Hill, Polish Hill, Stanton Heights or South Side Flats, you get extra credit. If you've walked across the Smithfield Street Bridge at least a dozen times you get another point added on.

I do love the sound of Pittsburgh. It sounds good. I like the sound of Albuquerque as well. I don't like Grand Rapids, sounds like something you get after a dodgy Ruby.

Apart from New York City where I am (and was partially raised) and Rutland (Vermont, where I was also partially raised) Pittsburgh is my favorite place. I love the 'burgh, every hill, all 3 rivers, the Pirates (right after my beloved Yankees), the Penguins, the inclines, the food, the bridges, and that view when you come through the tunnel on to the Fort Pitt Bridge...that was what first made me fall in love with it.

It's sad to leave, but in a few years you hopefully can plan a trip and at least get a visit back or even if the cards are lined up right, go to college in Pittsburgh.

In the meanwhile, you've had the thrill and enjoyment of living in such a fine city and from what folks are saying here, Vancouver should be a pleasure as well.

yup! thanks for the encouragement. i still have family in pittsburgh, so i can visit pretty often, like over the holidays.
