Is the word "receipt" here a verb or a noun?

@High Seas,

It was my best effort at Damon Runyan, Raymond Chandler, James Lee Burke, Lee Child, Elmore Leonard-esque language, and my hommage to the genre.

But it seems to have come over as Merseyside. Some more work required, obviously.

I will blitz it/ brainstorm it.

A good reason indeed.

But honey, I've successfully translated his Merseyside language into standard English, and he confirmed my effort.

And worse, a saying goes like this:

Friend, it is a name for betrayal. Razz
