Remember how the collapse of Lehman brought down AIG for insuring much of Lehman's debt (even offering credit default swaps that would be paid out even if someone didn't actually own any Lehman debt)?
Guess what American banks have been doing with Greek debt.
Greek debt insured by US banks: $34.1 Billion
